All About The Workshops

To prepare participants of the competition, we aspire to design interactive, discussion-based learning experiences that complement the end goal of pairing projects with skill building. In our learning mix, there will be two primary types of instruction - Asynchronous & In-person.

In-person instruction is highly valuable and will be utilized during our three workdays; however, no presentation of information should last longer than 11 minutes.

All workshops are located at QUAD MKE
at the Century City Tower building at 4201 N. 27 th St. in the 30 th Street Industrial Corridor area on Milwaukee’s northwest side.

Experts will be assisting participants with thematic steps of the ChangeMakerPitchfest MKE Competition. The asynchronous work will prepare folks to participate actively in the workshops.

To our guest facilitators, here are some questions to consider consider when planning to facilitate workshop time

  • Which mode of learning best suits the audience?

  • How can you quickly demonstrate care and build connections amongst a small group of participants ages 17-22?

  • Do I need a lesson plan template?

    • Use the TGG one if you need support -
